Jesus
If Jesus arrived on your doorstep
And asked if He could stay for a week,
Would you oblige and welcome Him in
Or would your knees buckle and creak.
Would you answer yes straight away?
Or would you tremble at the thought.
Would you consider the way you’re living
Or would morality count for nought.
Would you consider what He might find?
If He opened a cupboard or drawer,
Would pornographic videos fall out?
And land upon the lounge room floor.
Would you introduce your spouse to Him?
Or are you fornicating and living a lie.
Are you in an adulterous relationship?
And can’t break free how hard you try.
Consider if you were a sick Sodomite
What would Jesus have to say?
Would the abomination you’re committing
Be considered to be the right way.
If you were involved in child incest
Or paedophilia as many a sick person does,
Would not Jesus condemn your actions?
When you do this to children He loves.
Would He find you infected with diseases
Brought about by your free sexual ways.
Would not Jesus question your living?
And would you react to what He says.
Would He find you mixed up and fuddled
Stressed and out of your head
And due to your drug taking habit,
Lying helpless upon your bed.
You may think you are answerable to no one
But I can assure you that isn’t the case.
For soon the Saviour will return again
And He will confront you face to face.
So may I suggest you prepare yourself
And repent of your evil, rebellious ways.
Then when Jesus appears on your doorstep
It’s in His Kingdom you’ll end your days.
For this planet as we now know it
Is surely going to come to an end.
For the signs of the times are clear to see
So wake up and take note my dear friend.
