My Request
Father God in Heaven
Another request for thee,
Keep my computer operative,
Smooth, fast, and virus free.
Place a shield around it
And protect it from attack.
Chips, drive the motherboard,
Please keep the box intact.
I use it for your glory, Lord
As you are well aware.
Used to share your word
Which we know is true and fair.
My poems travel far and wide
Throughout the Internet.
For some they are a blessing,
For others they are a threat.
Keep the satellites functioning
So your word can spread around.
I’m doing it for your glory, Lord
It’s the best way that I’ve found.
I thank you for the gift, dear Lord,
And the blessings bestowed on me.
So please keep the words a coming,
Which will be used in your poetry.
So guide my hands I pray, Lord
As I tap upon these keys.
And may the words be a blessing
To all people who reads and sees.
Your contact address is well known,
It is Father God-in-Heaven.com.
So keep the computer functioning
So my work can continue on.
My last request is you bless,
All those who share your word.
And keep their computers going
For like me they’re computer nerds.
