Troubled Times

I know we live in troubled times
But as Christian’s we must not fret,
For Scripture says it must be this way
It’s a warning we must not forget.

The establishment is falling apart
And the planet is indeed in a mess,
But what was foretold must come to pass
So do not become troubled or stressed.

For the Word said there’d be tribulation
Which the planet has not seen before,
We now see it coming upon us
Which proves God’s word is pure?

It’s upon us to wake up the masses
To forewarn of the troubles ahead,
It’s God’s way of getting our attention
So be wary of the path you tread.

Everything around is now changing
The ice caps the climate and more,
Being changed by God the Creator
For much better things for sure.

So forget your carbon footprint
For that is balderdash and lies,
For God’s in control of this planet
And for man to contradict not wise.

We see problems around this planet
Famines, floods and brutal war,
It’s as my Saviour said it would be
And forever His Word will endure.

When we see these things before us
We know that our redemption is nigh,
So if you’ve not made sure you’re calling
Then humble before the Saviour on high.

As I write the heathen are rearming
And conflict will surely break out,
This will lead to the battle of the ages
And in my mind I have no doubt.

For everything’s coming to a climax
And so clear for a Christian to see,
For this earth as we know it will end
And that is a certainty.
